Peer Review Process
Truth in Research uses double-anonymous peer review wherever possible. Each research paper is reviewed by at least two reviewers, and the editor makes the final decision. More importantly, reviewers were chosen for their technical expertise, not because of worldviews. A paper on isotope geochemistry is reviewed by isotope geochemists; a paper on genetics by geneticists. Whether they’re Christians, atheists or anything else will not be the deciding criterion. That’s what gives peer review its credibility. News items, shorter articles, and book reviews receive a single editorial review.
The workflow is as follows:

Submission received.

Initial editorial screening: is it in scope, properly formatted, and serious?

Plagiarism and basic quality check.

Sent to two reviewers.

Reviewer recommendations: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

Author revision.

Final editor decision.

Copyediting and formatting. Author(s) retain copyright and articles are published under CC BY 4.0.

Publication.
Approximate timelines vary with the length of the paper, article, book, or review:

Initial editorial decision: within 7 to 14 days.

Peer-review decision: within 6 to 8 weeks.

Final decision after revision: within 2 to 4 weeks after resubmission.
